The Ekiti State House of Assembly has impeached and Removed its Deputy Speaker  Hon Segun Mayowa Adewumi from Office based on;

1. Several acts amounting to gross Misconduct

2. Personal conducts likely to bring the Honourable House to Disrepute

3. Obvious threat to Peace of Honourable Members

4. Obstruction of Constitutional Functions of The House. 

5. Dereliction, Desertion, Abscondment and Abandonment of Constitutional Vested Responsibilities of the Office of the  Deputy Speaker.
