In 2016 people argued street music will never make it, in 2017, the whole world bowed to Naija street music and all through 2018 till date, nothing like RnB, and so on.  It has grown from shakushaku to leg work. But that's on the music level.


All through 2018 one type of sound kept thrilling, Djs adopted it and started infusing our traditional beat into afro-pop and hiphop. Now you see people komole in the club, damn! I miss the "komole" scenes.
