Prime Suspect of Nyanya and Kuje 2015 Bombing and leader of Boko Haram arrested.
The Nigeria Police Force have arrested the prime suspect of Nyanya and Kuje 2015 bombing which took lots of lives in 2015.
The Boko Haram leader, Umar Abdulmalik is allegedly also responsible for the killing of seven police officers at Galadima round about, the killing of two other police officers around Abaji roundabout and on police officer at Lugbe, Abuja in 2018; the attack and jail break at Medium Security Prison, Minna, Niger State, on 3rd June, 2018 where Two Hundred and Nineteen (219) prisoners serving jail terms for capital offences and other crimes escaped from lawful custody.
Umar was arrested alongside seven other members of his gang.
About the suspects:
Umar Abdulmalik, 39ys is a native of Idoji village Okene, Kogi State (one of the most wanted Boko Haram terrorists leader and an explosive expert for the insurgence group).
Abubakar Bello Sidi 29yrs native of Obehira village, Okene, Kogi State
Yusuf Abdulazeez 31yrs a.k.a Fine Boy, native of Enyinare village, Okene, Kogi State.
Suleman Zakariya 24yrs a.k.a cause trouble, native of Idah, Kogi State
Lukman Abdulmalik 25yrs, a.k.a Lampard, native of Idoji village, Okene, Kogi State
Haruna Lamidi 25yrs native of Ihima village, Okehi, Kogi State
Abdullahi Mammanjimoh 30yrs native of idogido village, Okene, Kogi State
Mustapha Adenoyi 34yrs, native of Ihima village, Okehi, Kogi State
The were caught with these exhibits:
i. Four (4) Police AK47 Rifles (carted away after killing the Policemen)
ii. Six (6) Magazines
iii. Two Hundred and Seventy (270) rounds of AK47 Ammunition
iv. Two (2) Police walking talking Radio (carted away after killing the Policemen)
The gang have confessed to all the mentioned crimes and inveestigation is being intensified by the police to arrest other suspects connected to the crimes the gang have committed.
All the suspects confessed to the aforementioned crimes and the roles played the crimes. They will all be arraigned to Court on completion of investigation
