COME TO OUR RESCUE, OUR ROADS ARE NOW DEATH TRAPS – HON. CHIBUZOR RAPJOE UNACHUKWU

The Anambra State House of Assembly, Oyi Constituency, under the All Progressive Congress (APC) party, Hon. Chibuzor Rapjoe Unachukwu have called on the Governor to come rescue Ogbunike.

Ogbunike is located at Oyi Local Goverment in Anambra state. This place is said to have produced and campaigned for major goverment persons in the state but have no proper road in or out of it.

"They always find their way in during election campaign"

In a chat with newsmen in his country home at Ogbunike, Hon. Chibuzor Rapjoe points out that there is no road in the famous community "saying its quite disheartening and chaotic that our community where the present First Lady of the state Chief Mrs. Ebelechukwu Willie Obiano hails from by birth and not consideration of any kind nor half nationalism has No good roads, it boils my heart and that of every Ogbunike born both home and in diaspora that our people are suffering due to bad roads. I wish to appeal to the executive Governor of our Dear State who has done so much for ndị Anambra in terms of road construction and rehabilitation but less for us (Ogbunike) to declare state of emergency on Ogbunike roads which are now death traps for her users and residents."

He went further by waving off the legislator representing the constituency in the state House to cover her face in shame and consider herself a disgrace after a failed and disastrous two term outing.

"She’s married to Ogbunike and into the famous Okadigbo family, while the first Lady is also a born and breed of Ogbunike but both failed the community in terms of infrastructures and good roads, the state of roads in Ogbunike remains an eyesore, they have denigrated our community, many people are afraid to come home this yuletide season due to bad roads, our roads are in total mess and not motorable."

"Our Governor has to treat us with ease because we are a community in Anambra State before being favored to be directly in government, but all seems a curse to us. I’m not interested in scoring cheap political points rather to speak up, the Governor should come to our rescue, he concluded.
