Following a confirmation letter by the Ministry of Local Government Affairs, Kaduna, all Top Chiefs will now be addressed as Emir.
The letter signed by the Permanent Secretary, Adamu Mohammed Mansur, reads the approval of "status of the Traditional Councils from Chiefdoms to Emirates."
All Top Chiefs in Southern Kaduna to be addressed as Emir.
