Osun: REFLECT ON THE TEACHINGS OF RAMADAN - ALHAJI WALIYU ADEBAYO (ROVET)

I join millions of well-wishers across the World to felicitate with Muslim faithfuls as we welcome the Holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is not just a period to refrain from food and water, it is a whole month that teaches good deeds, ranging from Alms giving, friendliness, open mindedness, to piety. It is pertinent that we all live by the tenets of Ramadan and reflect on the teachings that comes with the sacred month.

I equally enjoin Muslim faithfuls across Osun State to seize the opportunity of these moments of open heaven to pray for Nigeria and Osun State in particular. We need fervent prayers to release our dear state from the shackles of Lagos sojourners who have plunged us into economic sham.
