Most Influential Radio Station on Social Media
Joy 99.7 FM has beaten off competition from 2016 frontrunner Citi 97.3 FM to emerge as the Most Influential Radio Station in the 2017 Ghana Social Media Rankings spearheaded by Avance Media, CliQAfrica, Eazzy Social and Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH.
Joy 99.7 FM who were 2014 & 2015 frontrunners reclaimed their position by recording 482,612 new followers in 2017 making them the most followed Radio Station on Social Media with a total of 1,998,512 followers on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram).
Keenly competitors, Citi 97.3 FM also recorded over 400,000 new followers in 2017 with a total following of over 1.8 Million followers.
The only new entrant on the annual ranking is Kasapa 102.5 FM who took the 10th Position.

4. Adom 106.3 FM
5. Nhyira 104.5 FM
6. Live 91.9 FM
7. Starr 103.5 FM
8. Asempa 94.7 FM
9. Peace 104.3 FM
10. Kasapa 102.5 FM
With appraisal to the 2016 Rankings, Y 107.9 FM, Adom 106.3 FM, Live 91.9 FM, Starr 103.5 FM moved up the ranking from 4th, 5th, 7th and 10th positions to 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th positions respectively.
Other radio stations who maintain a strong position to emerge in subsequent rankings include: Vision1 FM, Okay FM, Class FM and Radio XYZ.
The ranking which is based on the GSMR Score was analysed from their Social Media followings, Growth Difference, Engagements, Post Reaches and Mentions.
The 2017 Ghana Social Media Rankings was conducted by Avance Media, CliQAfrica, Eazzy Social and Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH in partnership Pearl Richards Foundation.
