YABATECH: Dr, Oyelola makes her first statement, announces exam date and Federal Government declares Public Holidays
The acting Rector, Yaba College of Technology, Dr. Taiwo Oyelola, othrough a circular on Friday, 22nd December celebrates Christmas with the college and encourages peace amongst lecturers.
The press release which was signed by the Public Relation Officer, Dr. Charles Oni urges everyone to acknowledged that Jesus is the Prince of Peace, also encouraging all to understand their individual differences because with understanding we stand in unity.
She goes further to say "Lets all jetison the "I and I or my department and no other', that usually plays in our interaction, and embrace the "we" princlple".
"Everyone or every department is important and relevant to move Yabatech forward . We should therefore draw close to one another as we mark the Christmas and Newyear and embrace 2018 in a new idiom praying God help us all.
Meanwhile, the Federam Goverment have declared December 25, 26 and January 1st, 2018 as public holidays for Christmas and New-year celebrations.
Finally, the Yabatech exam is scheduled to commence as follows:
Part-Time Students - January 27th, 2018
Full-Time Students - February 5th, 2018
