Day10: The Price #PsychologistOfChange
Want to know why even though everyone is born the same way with useful talents, opportunities and life experiences to enhance their journey, some people end up asking ‘Is this all there is?’
George Orwell answers that ‘all men are born equal but some are more equal than the others.’
To be more equal than the others is simply to live life at a price with the willingness to do more than the average person.
Most times, the painful price is what both the successful and the unsuccessful do not like to pay but the successful pay it. They do not care what they loose in the process because they're long term thinkers.
While unsuccessful people are busy looking for pleasing methods, successful people are searching for pleasing results and so they do whatever they can to get what they want.
So, my friend, if you really want to be successful, you must do whatever you can, wherever you can and whenever you can. There's no place for excuses.
There's no star without a scar so you must be willing to pay the price a star pays. You must be willing to move from being diligent, which is good, to making sacrifices.
Don't be like the average person who thinks short term and regrets in the long term. Short term gain can cause long term pain.
Be willing to go beyond your best. Be willing to do the extraordinary. Success comes with a price. Pay it.
My point?
If you cannot make a sacrifice for what you want, then what you want becomes the sacrifice.
If you cannot make a sacrifice for what you want, then what you want becomes the sacrifice.
My advice?
Pay the price.
Pay the price.
