Unilorin Student Kidnapped and released after accepting lift.
A male student of the University of Ilorin who goes by name, Olumide Omoniyi has been released after been kidnapped by ritualists, two weeks ago.
Omoniyi was said missing after he accepted lift from a driver disguised as a good samaritan, who later took him to a different location.
The victim on entering the vehicle said he noticed that two other occupants in the car were unconscious, before he knew it, they were at a ritualist den in Offa town, Kwara State, he was rejected.
‘From the Offa branch, they transferred him to another branch of the ritualists in Ogbomoso, they said they have enough boys’’, that they needed girls.
He was later dropped off when discovered he was useless for their plan but made him to cut his nail asked him to drink his own urine and blood from unknown sources before releasing him.
The victim have been reunited with his family, after the school management received a distress text message he sent and picked him from where he was dumped around 6 pm on Sunday, 29th October.
Moreso, the sub-dean, Student Affairs of the institution, Dr. Alex Akanmu have used the opportunity to warn students against accepting free rides in a general address.
