Smart People: Nomination Opens for 2017 100 Most Influential Young Africans
The inaugural list which was released in 2016, had a massive
reception from across the continent including the president of Rwanda, Paul
Kagame and other influential Africans and also sparked positive debates around
the continent about the potentials and roles of young people.
Categories Opened for Nomination include; Media, Law and
Governance, Business, Sports, Academia and Personal Development, Science and
Technology, Social Enterprise and Philanthropy, Leadership and Civil Society,
Entertainment, Lifestyle. Nominations can submitted through www.africayouthawards.org/nominate/
According to the Chief Operating Officer of Africa Youth Awards, Terser Adamu,
the final list will be released in August ahead of the commemoration of the
United Nation’s International Youth Day.
