My thought on 6months or 90k.
Just want to share my thought on Governor Ambode's new law.
A quick flash, 29th June - 2nd July, Ikorodu Road between Maryland and Idi-Iroko -
The talented men of KAI (Kick Agsinst Indiscipline (I doubt) where chasing street hawkers , as this is their job, while doing this a moving Truck hit one of the hawkers, who died immediately. 'Agberos' and the hawkers who already had enough hate for anything governmental, saw nothing else but 'BRT'(a long commercial bus owned by the Government of Lagos state, started by ex-Governor, Babatunde Fashola, the new one is called 'the Blue Bus, by Gov. Ambode) immediately took to action by destroying over 40 of these buses.

Days later, Governor Ambode comes out to say no more selling of Gala and fine of 90 thousand naira or 6months in jail for anyone caught patronizing.
After gist: A close up on the matter shows that the victim was trying to make up for his school fees, according to his sister(Lagos state hawkers consist SS students and Tertiary institutions, but the government always turn blind eyes to this). News have it that this same boy
was caught a week before, he had to bribed the same set of KAI officers allegedly with 10 thousand naira(this must have killed him a lot and if the story is true, a major reduction on his school fees.
Reaction to things by citizens
De. have always been a business man, going by all his record. Why Gala? What happened to Big Bite and so on 'cos I know street hawkers don't hawk only Gala, except in a general context, if not an expected bribe and HarrySong's contract might be in trouble.
About the fine ... its not necessary and keep creating unnecessary blockages on bridges and roads instead of creating reasonable bus-stops.
Finally, when you are done rebuilding, not even renovating, the Blue busses lane instead of our streets, gutters and canals, I hope the busses can vote.
I'm done.
