Abba Moro goes back to Prison!
After being arraigned by EFCC over his role in six hundred and seventy six million naira immigration recruitment scam, the former Interior Minister, Abba Moro has been remanded in prison by an Abuja High Court, on Monday, 29th of February.
The case which was handled by Justice Anwuli Chikere, puts Moro on an 11-count charge.
The EFCC alleged that the accused defrauded 675, 675 applicants of N675,675,000 during the botched immigration recruitment. Each of the 676,675 graduate applicants was charged N1,000 each.
Those in same shoe are Anastasia Daniel-Nwobia, who was the permanent secretary of the ministry at the time, F. O Alayebami, a deputy director in the ministry, one Mahmood Ahmadu, and Drexel Tech Nigeria Ltd, the company that handled the recruitment exercise.
