Tragedy struck as 5 Yabatech security and staff reportedly dead in a motor accident on their way to Calabar

Five Yabatech Security personnel and staff was reported dead on their way to Calabar on Friday, 12th of February.

The victims were said to be heading to a colleague's wedding when the coaster bus they took started having issues - the tire got flat suddenly and the driver applied break - it happened at Asaba.

Mrs Okothogaide Janet Oluremi nee Osems, popular known in Yabatech as "Mama Expo", was part of the crew.

According to the daughter, Ayomide, who was in tears all through, she says, mama said she will not be going for that wedding, that was why I went to my sister's place, that gave birth. It was there I got a call that mama is dead. I don't know what came upon her that made her change her mind. This she told Gbetu Correspondent Dapo Olaiya, in Yoruba.

Janet Osems is survived by father, husband, mother,children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, she is aged 63.
